GOLDENS' CORNER
Weighing
more than 100 lbs. and with Valley Fever, JESSE
came to AZGRC because her former owner was moving into a smaller
apartment. She had also been diagnosed with thyroid problems and
had a tumor. With assistance from AZGRC, Jesse began the long
(and expensive) road to recovery. One surgery later, a second
tumor was discovered and this combination of conditions does not
make Jesse an ideal candidate for radiation. With financial
assistance from AZGRC and lots of help from her foster family,
Jesse has a new “leash” on life. She now takes long walks, has
lost nearly 20 lbs. and loves to help in the kitchen. AZGRC is
hopeful Jesse’s forever family will not be deterred by these
demands.

As a rescue organization, we find that
many of our dogs need more medical care
than just vaccines and updated shots.
Lewis, Jackson and Freckles are examples
of advanced the medical care that our
organization provides for these rescued
goldens. But they need your help too.
