2012 AZGRC Calendar - September

Truman

little dog, big heart

Rescued     September 2010

Adopted      December 2010

Truman was a stray at the Westside Shelter. He was one to two years old, very thin, matted, covered in stool and had ticks when Arizona Golden Retriever Connection rescued him. He was your typical young Golden Retriever, full of energy and loved to play.  Truman really wanted to please people but he just needed some guidance on the rules. He was a “Velcro Dog” and was the most content when someone was around and even more content when someone would play with him. He loved other dogs and kids. His motto was “I have never met someone that I did not like” Truman found his perfect forever family with his new Dad, Rory and canine Golden sister, Abby. His Dad is a veterinarian so he gets to go to work on occasion where he lays in the office greeting everyone that walks by.

Today Truman is loving life and is grateful that AZGRC could see past his outward appearance and recognize the great dog within.
