Bowl-A-Rama was conceived six years
ago by PAC911 to assist local animal rescue organizations raise
much needed funds without any cost to them. AZGRC has been an
active participant in Bowl-A-Rama, and it has become one of our
major fund-raisers. Last year we raised over $14,000.00 and
we hope to reach $20,000.00 this year. These funds are used to
cover our veterinary expenses which typically exceed $80,000.00
annually.
We are asking our members and
supporters to help us reach this goal by collecting donations to
enable us to continue rescuing, caring for and finding forever
homes for our Goldens.
Each year we select a number of
dogs to be the “Poster Children” of our fund-raising efforts. This year we chose
six very special dogs that have endured pain
and suffering with dignity, courage and faith in those humans
who reached out to help them. They are shining examples of
what animal rescue is all about.
We hope you will take the time to
read their stories. Then, support AZGRC by making a donation or
reaching out to your friends and family and asking them to help
one of these special dogs.
