Many of
the goldens we rescue are already infected with Valley
Fever. Did you know that this disease can kill an
untreated dog or cat? It is an easy disease to
catch, especially for strays and outside dogs.
Once a dog contacts Valley Fever, it can be treated, but
the medication can be expensive and the recovery period
can be prolonged. Some people can also contact Valley
Fever.
Below are some 2007
AZGRC dogs that contacted Valley Fever.
