I knew something was up.
After Mom and Dad drank their morning coffee, they
loaded the car with cameras, a water cooler and some
snacks. Annie (my sister) and I were going for a ride!
Ohhh yeah, a road trip — my favorite thing to do! We
jumped into the car and off we went, windows rolled
down and the wind blowing around us. Life just doesn’t
get any better than this!
We stopped at the Mesa Arts
Center and met a wonderful lady named Heather who had
all kinds of cameras, snacks for Annie and me, and ice
cubes to keep us cool. She was looking for good photo
opportunities, and did I mention the snacks? Nice lady
...
Dad and Mom wrangled,
whatever that is. All I know is Heather would have Dad
position me in different spots, and Heather would take
photos. This was fun stuff! I was up the stairs, posed
with the flowers and by the colored wall, and enjoying
every minute! I made friends with the security guards,
and the folks who walked by in curiosity. There was this
neat concrete pond, which was the best! Annie and I
jumped right in — so thoughtful for the city to think of
us.
After Heather was finished
taking photos for the AZGRC calendar, it was time to go
home. What a fun morning! Now it’s nap time, yeaaaa.
