THAT CUTE LITTLE HEAD TILT

Don’t
tell my Grandma that I am telling people, but she was
recently diagnosed with vertigo. Did you know dogs can
get a disease something like vertigo? Our cute little
head tilt is just that … cute, unless we have it all of
the time. What we are trying to tell you is that our
sense of balance is off. A head tilt can be one sign of
an inner-ear disorder that causes us to circle or
stumble or sometimes fall. There are many other
diseases that could mimic an inner ear disorder so make
sure you get us to the vet. There are tests they can do
to find out exactly what is wrong. To find out more you
can Google “Vestibular Disease in Dogs” and read the
very complete articles on the subject.
Hope the only circling you
are doing is to find a comfortable place to lie down.
